CoQ10 supports healthy:†
- Mitochondrial function
- Cognitive function
- Energy production
- Aging processes
- Fertility – via healthy sperm and healthy ovum
- Skin
- Cardiovascular, immune system, and neurological function
- Inflammatory responses
- Ovarian function
- Hormone levels
- Glucose levels
- Insulin levels
- Glutathione levels
- Heart rhythm
- Blood vessel function
- Blood pressure
Found naturally in your body, the production of CoQ10 decreases with age. Older individuals are at a higher risk for deficiency. Other deficiency factors include low dietary intake, vitamin B6 deficiency, genetic variations, mitochondrial or other diseases, stress, and statin medications.
Levels of
CoQ10 provides 100 mg of a form of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) called MicroActive® .
MicroActive ® CoQ10 is backed by four human clinical studies demonstrating:(1)
- 3x better absorption than regular crystalline CoQ10.†
- 2x better absorption than solubilized CoQ10 softgels
- 2x CoQ10 levels from baseline after 3 weeks in 100% of users
Experience the difference that bioavailable CoQ10 can provide with CoQ10 by Seeking Health.†

Guidance from Dr Lynch:
The importance of CoQ10 is massive. It’s an absolute requirement in your body’s ability to literally generate energy. Without CoQ10, you cannot make energy via ATP.
When ATP levels are low, then all systems are going to fail.
By supporting healthy CoQ10 levels, you’re supporting healthy ATP production and thus, energy.
The effects are not immediately felt. Be consistent, take daily and for at least 1 month to notice a significant effect on healthy CoQ10 levels. Research shows that CoQ10 levels doubled from baseline in 100% of human test subjects when using this form of CoQ10 for three weeks. That’s impressive.
Medications which interfere with CoQ10 are common. Almost everyone knows that statins lower CoQ10 levels but they may not know about all of these – and this is not all of them:(2)
| Medication Class | Examples | Effect on CoQ10 |
|---|---|---|
| Statins | Atorvastatin, simvastatin, pravastatin | Significantly decrease |
| Beta-blockers | Atenolol, labetalol, metoprolol, propanolol | Decrease |
| Tricyclic antidepressants | Amitriptyline, doxepin, imipramine | Decrease |
| Antacids | Omeprazole, ranitidine, Tums, etc | Decrease |
| Diabetes medications | Metformin, glimepride, glipizide, glyburide | Decrease |
If you or someone you know is taking these medications, then supplementing with CoQ10 to support healthy CoQ10 levels is a must.†
To further support CoQ10, one needs to be fully hydrated with electrolytes. I recommend drinking Optimal Electrolyte daily to support healthy electrolytes.†
Here’s why:†
- Potassium supports healthy membrane potential and energy production. Without potassium, CoQ10 isn’t as able to perform.
- Magnesium activates the ATP-based enzymes which CoQ10 supports. Low magnesium will blunt CoQ10’s ability to produce ATP.
Optimal Electrolyte contains healthy amounts of both potassium and magnesium along with creatine and taurine – and ATP directly.
How do creatine and taurine help CoQ10?
Creatine, when given with CoQ10, provides an additive healthy neuroprotective effect by supporting healthy oxidative stress and healthy dopamine levels.³†
Taurine, with CoQ10, supports healthy antioxidant defenses.⁴†
