Testosterone Nutrients
Is Testosterone Nutrients Right for You?†
If any of these sound familiar, this formula was designed with you in mind.
- “I’m over 35 and my drive just isn’t what it used to be.” Testosterone levels decline approximately 1–2% per year after age 30. By 40–50, many men and women feel it. Less motivation. Less energy. Less edge. Supporting healthy testosterone levels with targeted nutrients helps maintain the vitality you used to take for granted. (1)†
- “My libido has dropped and it’s affecting my relationship.” Healthy testosterone levels are directly associated with healthy libido in both men and women. Furosap® fenugreek extract supported healthy sexual function and desire in men aged 35–65. TESTFACTOR® positively supportedoverall sexual function by 48% in an 8-week clinical trial. This formula addresses healthy libido through multiple pathways, not just one. (2,3)†
- “I haven’t had a firm morning erection in months.” Testosterone peaks during early morning sleep. Consistent morning erections are one of the most reliable indicators of healthy testosterone levels in men. If they’ve faded, your body is telling you something. As healthy testosterone, estrogen, and SHBG levels are supported, many men notice improvements in firmness and consistency. That’s a sign the hormonal balance is moving in the right direction. (4)4. “I’m working out but my body isn’t responding like it used to.” Healthy testosterone is essential for supporting lean body mass and muscle protein synthesis. Furosap® supported healthy lean body mass and fat-free mass in a randomized, placebo-controlled trial. TESTFACTOR® supported a 14.5% optimization in grip strength in 8 weeks. If you’re putting in the work and not seeing results, your hormones may need support. (3,5)†
- “I’ve tried testosterone support before but my estrogen climbed right alongside it.” This is extremely common, and it’s exactly why I designed this formula. When testosterone is supported without also addressing estrogen metabolism and SHBG, estrogen rises. Stinging nettle supports healthy aromatase activity and SHBG binding. Luteolin provides additional aromatase support. DIM supports healthy estrogen metabolism by promoting favorable estrogen metabolite pathways. This formula was built to support the full hormonal picture, not just one number. (6,7,8)†
- “I supported my testosterone levels and my SHBG skyrocketed, so now my free testosterone is still low.” This is one of the most frustrating patterns. You do everything right to support testosterone production, but your body responds by increasing SHBG, which binds to that testosterone and makes it unavailable. LJ100® Eurycoma longifolia supports the release of free testosterone from SHBG. Stinging nettle lignans support healthy SHBG receptor binding. Boron supports healthy SHBG levels. This formula was specifically designed to address the SHBG rebound that so many people experience. (6,9,10)†
- “My total testosterone looks fine on paper but I still feel terrible.” That’s often a free testosterone problem. SHBG binds to testosterone and makes it unavailable to your tissues. You can have acceptable total testosterone and still have low free testosterone, which is what your body actually uses. This formula targets free testosterone specifically through multiple mechanisms including LJ100®, stinging nettle, and boron. (6,9,10)†
- “I can’t sleep through the night anymore.” Healthy testosterone levels support healthy sleep architecture. Elevated cortisol, which directly competes with testosterone production, disrupts sleep. Shoden® ashwagandha supports healthy cortisol levels at its clinically studied dosage. Magnesium supports healthy muscle relaxation and sleep quality. A surprising benefit I experienced personally was sleeping through the night versus waking up multiple times. (11,12,13)†
- “I’m more irritable and less patient than I used to be, and people around me notice.” Mood, patience, and emotional resilience are influenced by the balance between testosterone and cortisol. LJ100® supported significant optimization in tension, anger, and confusion in moderately stressed men and women. Shoden® ashwagandha supported normalcortisol reduction and a healthy stress response When the hormonal balance is supported, many people notice they feel more like themselves. (11,14)†
- “I’m gaining fat around my midsection no matter what I do.” Declining testosterone and rising estrogen shift body composition toward increased abdominal fat storage. This formula supports healthy testosterone production while simultaneously supporting healthy estrogen metabolism, addressing the hormonal environment that drives stubborn midsection weight. (1,5,8)†
- “I’m a woman in perimenopause or postmenopause and my energy, motivation, and libido have dropped off a cliff.” Women produce and need testosterone too, just in smaller amounts. LJ100® was studied in physically active older women and supported significant increases in both total testosterone (48.6%) and free testosterone (122%) alongside support of muscular force. Research on Eurycoma longifolia in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women is ongoing. Start with 1–2 capsules and adjust based on how you feel. (15,16)†
- “My memory and focus aren’t sharp anymore. I lose my train of thought mid-sentence.” Healthy testosterone levels support healthy cognition, focus, and mental clarity. Furosap® was studied for its role in supporting mental alertness in men aged 35–65. LJ100® has been associated with cognitive well-being. When hormonal balance is supported, many people report mental clarity. (2,14)†
- “I feel less confident and assertive than I used to, like I’ve lost my competitive edge.” Testosterone influences confidence, assertiveness, and competitive drive through its effects on brain chemistry. Shoden® ashwagandha supported healthy DHEA-S (18% increase) and testosterone (14.7% increase) in aging men, both hormones associated with vitality and self-assurance. (11)†
- “I’m getting up two or three times a night to urinate.” Nocturia is commonly associated with hormonal changes in men. Stinging nettle extract has been studied extensively for its role in supporting healthy urinary function and prostate comfort. This was another benefit I noticed personally. Sleeping through the night without bathroom trips. (6,17)†
- “I’m taking five different bottles just to cover testosterone, estrogen, SHBG, cortisol, and stress. There has to be a simpler way.” There is. Testosterone Nutrients was designed to address all of these pathways in one formula. Healthy testosterone production. Healthy estrogen metabolism. Healthy SHBG levels. Healthy cortisol balance. Stack it with Optimal Man™ for your foundational multivitamin, add Fish Oil for omega-3 support, and you have comprehensive coverage without the handful of bottles. (2,3,5,6,8,9,11,12)†
- “I’m tired of fairy-dusted formulas with ingredients that have no human research behind them.” Every ingredient in Testosterone Nutrients was selected based on published human clinical research. TESTFACTOR®, Furosap®, LJ100®, Shoden®, Ceti VI™, Ginfort®, and Albion® minerals are each backed by peer-reviewed studies. This formula uses clinically researched dosages, not label decoration. Formulation Insight
When I turned 45, I noticed my energy, motivation, and body composition shifting. I designed Optimal Man to address those foundational needs. Optimal Man supported me significantly. I recommend starting there as I did.†
Optimal Man provides comprehensive nutritional support including active B vitamins, antioxidants, and testosterone-supportive herbs. For many men, and even middle-aged women, that’s all they need.†
By 50, I felt I needed more targeted support.
I explored several options with my doctor over the course of a year. While they initially supported my testosterone numbers, I noticed my SHBG climbed significantly and my estrogen rose alongside it. What started as a positive shift became an imbalance. The cost and inconvenience were additional factors. I wanted a different path.
I knew from my background in biochemistry that simply supporting testosterone production isn’t enough. You also need to support healthy SHBG levels and healthy estrogen metabolism. That’s the piece most testosterone support formulas miss entirely. So I hit the medical research and started building what would become Testosterone Nutrients.†
The challenge was designing a formula that supports healthy testosterone production while simultaneously maintaining healthy estrogen and SHBG levels. That’s not easy to do. Most formulas focus on one pathway. I needed ingredients that work synergistically: supporting testosterone through multiple mechanisms, supporting healthy aromatase activity to maintain a favorable testosterone-to-estrogen ratio, and supporting healthy SHBG binding so free testosterone stays available. That synergy is what makes this formula different.†
After over a year of trial and error testing various formulations, I settled on this one. Within a few days, I noticed my sleep was uninterrupted and my motivation was healthy.†
How to Use It
Start with Optimal Man. Take it for a couple of months and evaluate. If that’s giving you the support you need, you’re good.
If you feel you need more targeted support like I did, add in Testosterone Nutrients. Along with Optimal Man, add in 1 capsule of Testosterone Nutrients after dinner and see how you feel. After a week, if needed, increase to 2 capsules. You can work up to the full serving of 4 capsules as needed.
Timing varies by individual. Some do better after dinner, some after breakfast, some splitting the dose between both meals. Pay attention to how you feel and adjust. I track my sleep and HRV using a Garmin Venu 3. Whatever method you use, implement one change at a time and track for at least a week before adjusting. Adding multiple variables makes it impossible to know what’s working.
I typically take 2 capsules of Optimal Man 3-5 days a week after breakfast, and 2 capsules of Testosterone Nutrients after breakfast – and sometimes I switch it around and take it after dinner. I’m still experimenting with this.
I add in 1 capsule of Fish Oil. That’s the stack.†
Key Signs of Healthy Testosterone
For men: waking up in the early morning hours with a firm erection is a reliable indicator. Testosterone levels peak during early morning sleep. If that’s not happening consistently, your testosterone levels may benefit from nutritional support.†
For women: healthy libido, healthy motivation, and steady energy. If these are declining, especially during perimenopause or postmenopause, supporting healthy testosterone balance with targeted nutrients may be supportive. Start with 1–2 capsules and adjust.†
If doing lab work, test first thing in the morning when testosterone is highest. Repeat at the same time for accurate comparison. Request: Total Testosterone, Free Testosterone, SHBG, and Estradiol. Those four markers together give you the full picture.
