SPE (Solid Polymer Electrolyte) is a technology used in the process of electrolysis. It separates water into hydrogen and oxygen.
PEM, also known as polymer electrolyte membrane, works in conjunction with the SPE. Following the electrolysis process, the PEM allows only the positively charged ions (such as hydrogen ions) to pass through, while oxygen, chlorine, and ozone are blocked. This membrane helps to ensure that only pure hydrogen is infused into the water.
